As one of the core technologies of tablet conferences, touch screen technology is not only used by merchants for hype marketing, but also attracted the attention of users. Therefore, as the two widely used technologies of capacitive touch and infrared touch, which technology is better? Let's take a look.
Touch all-in-one
So far, the market and brands of touch all-in-one products are mixed, and competition is fierce. For consumers, how important is the quality and function of the product? Touch screen technology, as one of the core technologies of the conference tablet, is not only used by merchants for hype and marketing, but also attracted the attention of users. Therefore, as the two widely used technologies of capacitive touch and infrared touch, which technology is better? Let's take a look.
If you pay more attention to touch technology, when you experience or test an all-in-one machine for the first time, you can judge the touch technology suitable for it based on the appearance or parameters. From the appearance of the capacitive screen, the entire screen is flat, just like the smart phones that everyone uses, and there is a frame around the infrared screen. Regarding technical parameters, due to the mature technology of major manufacturers, the general parameters will be more obvious and detailed, and you can learn directly from the parameter table. Contact capacitive touch and infrared touch are issues of concern.
Capacitive touch screen
The capacitive touch screen is a relatively stable transparent system. First, it must be transparent. Second, the capacitive touch screen can provide us with the absolute coordinates of the place where the finger touches. The characteristic of this absolute coordinate system is that the coordinates of each point are paired. The previous point has no effect. The touch screen is actually an independent coordinate positioning system, and the position of each touch screen is converted into screen coordinates.
Under normal circumstances, capacitive screens are sensitive to speed. But its price is more expensive, and the production size is not large.
Infrared touch screen
The infrared matrix densely distributed in the X and Y directions is used to detect and locate the infrared touch screen. The infrared touch screen is composed of infrared transmitting and receiving sensing elements installed on the outer frame of the touch screen, forming an infrared detection net on the surface of the screen. Touching an object, such as a finger, enters the grating, it will block the light beam. The intelligent control system will detect the change in light loss and send a signal to the control system to confirm the coordinate values of the X-axis and Y-axis. Although infrared touch screens are slightly inferior to capacitive screens in sensitivity, after years of product iteration, the application of infrared touch screen technology has been quite mature, so there is little difference in actual use experience. Infrared screens have a longer life span than capacitive screens.
